Every year the night before the first ASU home football game Jonesboro closes down two blocks of downtown to have a huge block party/pep rally. It is always so much fun. There is free food and all kinds of free ASU stuff. The band, cheerleaders, dance team, and Red (ASU’s mascot) are always present. This year everyone was pretty pumped since ASU had just beaten Texas A&M in an upset. And, with the school changing their name from the Indians to the Red Wolves there is just a lot of excitement in the air! It was a great family night out! We had a great time howling it up for our Red Wolves!
