We love the Memphis Zoo. Last year we decided to get a family membership since it cost just $20 more than a one time visit. Now we can go whenever we want and it doesn’t cost anything. All summer long they have had these little zoo parties for members where the kids wear their swimsuits and play in the fountains, AND all of the rides are free! Yesterday was the last one for the summer and since Brian had to work today we decided that we would celebrate Labor Day a day early and take the kids to the zoo. I am so glad we did! They had so much fun and it was a completely different experience than usual. They played in the fountains, got to see lots of animals, rode all the rides they could stand, and before we left they got to dance for a few minutes on the dance floor with all the really cool lights and loud music!!
