Yesterday was Layne’s first day of Second Grade. We got off to an early start with a very nutritious breakfast of chocolate chip pop tarts and milk:). I cannot believe he is in 2nd grade. It just sounds so big! He was not nervous at all. If his back pack had not been so heavy with all his school supplies, I really don’t think he would have even let me walk him in! He took all of his things to his room and then all the kids went to the gym for an assembly. He had a great day and said his favorite part of the day was recess! I guess some things never change!
